My client a leading US Law Firm in London are looking for an ambitious mid/senior Financial Services Regulatory associate. In an increasingly sophisticated market this firm offers bespoke advice on a range of cross-border advisory and transactional matters across Europe, Asia and America.
This would be an ideal role for an associate who wants to be at the forefront of the regulatory landscape and who wants to get involved in actively shaping the future of the industry and the regulations which underpin it. The team are widely recognised for its role in shaping the market and regularly acting on issues of high level strategic importance to governments, Financial Institutions and Asset Managers. The work will involve AIFMD, Basel III, general market infrastructure, Compliance and Anti Money Laundering advice.
The team is small and needs to hire additional resource at the Mid/Senior level. The Regulatory group is a key revenue generator for the firm and whilst regulatory advice for asset managers is a key component of the firm, the practice is significantly broader than your average Fund servicing practice. The hire of an ambitious mid-level is therefore of significant strategic importance. It is understood that there are credible longer-term partnership prospects for the right candidate.
