Our client is a leading multinational corporate in the hospitality industry, headquartered in the US.

Due continuous growth of the business, they are now looking for a

Senior Director - Employment

to join the international legal team. This role will report directly to the Vice President & Senior Counsel, Employment - EMEA and will be based in Frankfurt a.M., Germany. They are flexible with remote working as well if you are willing to travel regularly.

In this role you will be a trusted advisor to the HR departments and business managers across the EMEA region, providing legal advice and counsel on a broad range of employment & labour law matters, policies, and programmes. You will participate in the development of legally sound policies and programmes and you will advise the business on all aspects of the company's relationship with Works Councils and/or Trade Unions across EMEA. You will assist in achieving strategic goals by identifying legal consequences and issues associated with new projects & deployments and plans. Also, you will train HR managers, operating business managers and others on trends and legal actions which may affect the workplace through written materials or training seminars.

You will be a German qualified lawyer with at least five years of professional experience from a renowned law-firm or international company. You will have excellent knowledge of (international) labour & employment law. You will have substantial experience in providing advice and counsel to human resources and operating business managers in complex labour & employment related matters. You will also have experience with leading-edge employment and labour-related policies, programmes and systems, and up-to-date knowledge of labour & employment issues and case law. You will have very strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English is required.
