Our client, a major Australian law firm, is looking to add a Senior Associate to its Construction & Infrastructure team.
In this role, you will work alongside two highly regarded Partners on all legal aspects of front-end construction, infrastructure, public private partnerships (PPPs), alliancing and defence materiel procurement.
Our client's Construction & Infrastructure team acts in some of Australia's largest PPP deals and advises on multi-billion dollar on-shore and off-shore construction developments. The team also acts for major international consortia in the construction, operation and maintenance of desalination plants throughout Australia, as well as for State governments and some of Australia's largest, most prestigious, construction and infrastructure entities on landmark infrastructure works. One of the Partners has also been instructed by contractors on some of Australia's largest military construction and through-life support projects.
Our client has more than 560 people, including 128 Partners operating out of its offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. Its clients include ASX top 200, major global foreign corporations, ASX mid and small caps, Government enterprises and large and medium private corporations.
This role would suit a Senior Associate looking to:
- strategically explore their career progression prospects outside of a 'top heavy' team;
- work alongside Partners who are often retained in landmark and multi-billion dollar projects; and
- gain exposure to more varied and interesting work.
