The company are a huge international organisation with a technology focus, whose clients operate in the aerospace, defence and security sectors. They engineer, manufacture, and develop a range of innovative products, so operate right at the cutting edge of their markets.
This role fits in within one of the company's core teams, and you would be providing commercial-focused legal advice to all parts of the business - in particular to the technology, development, manufacturing and export teams.
They are looking for a couple of lawyers across the junior-mid level who are hard-working, willing to learn, robust, and capable of proactively building relationships across the business.
The focus of your work would be commercial, but there will also be a generalist element to the role. Ideally you would have some experience in commercial contract work either in private practice or in-house, but the company are open to lawyers with different skillsets (e.g. corporate, litigation, banking etc). The key for any candidate will be to demonstrate an ability to spot commercial issues and provide pragmatic advice.
The legal team is collaborative, supportive and commercial and would be a great environment in which to develop your career. There is also the opportunity for international travel further down the line.
Please get in touch if the role is of interest.
Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide. However we are happy to consider applications from all candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.
