They are now seeking an additional lawyer to join the EMEA legal team to advise on commercial and technology matters.
Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, negotiating and interpreting a wide variety of commercial issues and transactions, varying in nature, complexity and value, from a simple NDA or a consultancy contract to a multi-million pound complex technology (robotics, cloud, etc.) or business outsourcing agreement. Other responsibilities include assisting with corporate transactions and integration activities and promoting strong corporate governance and risk mitigation practices, as well as advising on ad-hoc issues that arise on a daily basis. You will be responsible for the legal review and negotiation of commercial agreements with clients in a broad range of industries and work on all phases of deals, ranging from the proposal/bid review stages, right through to final negotiation. This is also an opportunity to really get under the skin of the business and develop close working relationships with the deal-making teams.
The business welcome applicants either working in private practice or in-house. You must have experience of working on IT contracts as well as have a commercial approach.
