A highly regarded international law firm seek to appoint a company secretary on a permanent basis into their established company secretarial team, key responsibilities will include:
- Communication on a daily basis with a wide base of varied clients and internal colleagues
- Co-ordination of, attendance and minute taking at Board and Shareholder Meetings
- Arranging for the drafting of all necessary Companies Registration Office forms, preparation of notices and resolutions
- Management of Annual Compliance clients ensuring timely filings at the Companies Registration Office
- Advise on Company Secretarial and Company Law issues and provision of practical solutions
- Ability to confidently take responsibility to ensure that all clients are meeting their statutory requirements
- Prepare documentation in relation to change of name, change in articles, transfer of shares, amendment to share capital
- Attending to formation of companies, branches and business names
- Meeting deadlines on a regular basis and ensure highest standard of quality and client service is maintained at all times
- Liaising with Companies Registration Office and Revenue Commissioners
- Assisting with the notarisation and apostilling of documentation
- Re-constitution of historic Statutory Registers and undertaking due diligence services as and when required
- Undertaking legal and non-legal research on behalf of clients and other fee earners
The ideal candidate will possess a mix of the following:
- Ideally ICSA qualified (or equivalent) or working towards qualification
- 2-3 years' experience gained in a company secretarial role in a professional services firm
- Practical working knowledge of company secretarial templates, procedures and software, Blueprint an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of the Companies Acts 2014
- Strong Communication Skills and ability to deal with clients and senior management
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
