Our client, a leading international City law firm with an excellent reputation is seeking a banking & real estate finance solicitor on a 3-6 month fixed term contract basis.

The Real Estate Finance team advises financial institutions (including clearing banks, second tier banks and private banks) private equity funds, hedge funds, institutional funds, developers and investors on all aspects of real estate, corporate and other general finance transactions.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Managing transactions for borrowers and lenders, working on a broad range of transactions including property acquisition finance, development finance, corporate restructuring and corporate acquisition finance (although corporate acquisition finance not essential)

-Drafting and negotiating facility and security documentation
-Identifying key legal issues in a broad range of transactions
-Work closely with the Corporate and Real Estate teams as and when required
-Manage and prioritise own workload

Skills/Experience:

-Ideally upwards of 2+ PQE with a general banking and real estate finance background
-The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of real estate finance work
-Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely
