This asset management firm is looking for an Assistant Company Secretary to join their team in Henley-in-Arden.
In this important role, you will provide company secretarial support to the VCT boards, advice on corporate governance matters and assist with ensuring VCT compliance. Additional responsibilities will include:
* Prepare paperwork for all share buy-backs including liaising with broker and registrar, updating share capital, Companies House filings
* Provide support to the VCTs in fundraising activity, in conjunction with share offer advisers and service providers, including preparation of documents and review of processes (including AML), processing applications, preparation and publication of RNS announcements
* Draft minutes for all board and committee meetings for approval by the boards of each VCT
* Prepare non-executive director appointment letters for all VCT board members
Reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary, this is an exciting opportunity for a company secretarial professional with c.3 years' experience looking to expand on their knowledge in a supportive and varied organisation. You will also be part or fully CGI qualified with previous experience in a financial services organisation. Experience working with listed investment trusts or VCTs would be highly beneficial.
This organisation operates a hybrid working policy with the requirement to be in the office 3 days per week.
